ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Customer of RISK made in Warsaw Store,
In connection with the proceedings conducted by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (hereinafter referred to as the "President of UOKiK") against RISK S.A., with its registered office in Warsaw (00-031) at Szpitalna 6A, apartment 9 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), we hereby provide important information regarding Decision No. RLU 2/2024, dated December 12, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the "Decision"), issued by the President of UOKiK, concerning a possible violation of information duties towards consumers making purchases on the Company’s online store.
As compensation, the Company will grant an amount of PLN 30 to all customers who:
- (i) had an account on the Company’s website or made purchases on the Company’s website before January 1, 2023, and made purchases on the website after January 1, 2023, or
- (ii) registered or made purchases on the website between January 1, 2023, and July 9, 2023, and;
- (iii) after January 1, 2023, submitted a complaint regarding the allegations presented by the President of UOKiK against the Company, i.e., failure to inform the consumer, at the latest when expressing the intention to enter into a distance or off-premises contract, of the phone number at which the consumer can quickly and effectively contact the Company, or
- (iv) will file a complaint on this matter within 30 days from the sending of this notice, i.e., by February 21, 2025.
The amount will be provided in the form of a unique code, which can be used for purchases on the Company’s website, www.riskmadeinwarsaw.com within 12 months from the date of delivery. The amount can be used in a single or multiple transactions, using the same code (until the total of the granted funds, i.e., PLN 30, is exhausted). Codes will be sent to the email addresses provided during registration on the Company’s store or during purchases or complaints, in individual messages about the granted compensation.
